WhatsMetrics is not affiliated with Meta or WhatsApp. The chat analyzer processes everything locally in your browser — we never receive your files. You are responsible for using the tools in compliance with applicable law and with respect for third-party privacy.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using WhatsMetrics (the "Service"), available at whatsmetrics.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Ardudev. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes posted on this website.

2. Service description

WhatsMetrics is a free toolkit for WhatsApp that includes:

  • Chat Analyzer: processes .txt files exported from WhatsApp directly in your browser to generate statistics and reports. No file is uploaded to our servers.
  • Link Generator with QR: creates direct WhatsApp contact links (wa.me) with a pre-written message and downloadable QR code.
  • Text Formatter: applies formatting (bold, italic, strikethrough, etc.) to WhatsApp messages with real-time preview.

    • The Service is provided "as is," free of charge for basic features. Some advanced features may require a paid plan in the future (Pro plan).

    3. Acceptable use

    By using WhatsMetrics, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service's systems or infrastructure.
  • Not use the Service to send, generate, or facilitate spam, unsolicited mass messages, or any communication that violates applicable law.
  • Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written authorization.
  • Not use the Service to process third-party data without the consent of those data subjects.

    • 4. Prohibited uses

    The following uses of WhatsMetrics are expressly prohibited:

  • Illegal activities or those that violate the rights of third parties.
  • Analyzing other people's chats without their explicit consent.
  • Collecting or processing third-party personal data in bulk or without a legal basis.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Overloading or disrupting the Service's availability through automated attacks, scrapers, or bots.
  • Impersonating WhatsMetrics, Ardudev, or any employee or representative of the Service.

    • Violation of these prohibitions may result in suspension of access to the Service and, in serious cases, legal action.

    5. Intellectual property

    WhatsMetrics ownership:

    The name "WhatsMetrics," the logo, the site design, the source code, and all original content of the Service are the property of Ardudev and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

    Your data:

    The chat files you process with the analyzer are yours. Since processing happens in your browser and no file is transmitted to our servers, we acquire no rights over your content.

    WhatsApp and Meta:

    WhatsMetrics is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way connected to Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC. "WhatsApp" and "Meta" are registered trademarks of their respective owners. wa.me links are public URLs defined by WhatsApp; their use does not imply any association with Meta.

    6. Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • WhatsMetrics is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that the Service will be available uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
  • We are not responsible for the content of the chats you process or the conclusions you draw from the generated reports.
  • Links generated with the Link Generator are the responsibility of the user who distributes and uses them.

    • 7. Changes to the service and terms

    Service changes:

    We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

    Terms changes:

    We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Substantial changes will be announced via a visible notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

    8. Governing law and jurisdiction

    These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from the use of the Service, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico.
